We didn't have a car so my options were limited. However, I did get to see Edgar Allen Poe's grave, Lexington Market, and the Constellation, among the usual tourist spots. But there was one place I wanted to see that isn't on any tourist map - Dr. Lecter's house.
No such place exists, of course. But I found the next best thing - the building they used as the exterior for Hannibal's house in the movie, Red Dragon. It took some research but I was able to get 2 possible addresses. Fortunately, they were near each other and within walking distance of the hotel. So, off I went, in 100+ degree heat, armed with a map and the screenshot from the movie showing the house. Of course, the closer of the two addresses, did not match the house. It was a bank of all things. But the second address did.
